Bushes would be my first guess. Had similar on the left on cornering. Lower arms both sides sorted it out. 2010 Disco XS TDV6, 2009 Freelander 2 GS

How can you check? Jack the front of the car up and grab hold of the wheel. Look at the suspension components while you are wiggling the wheel and replace whichever part you see moving. Not sure you should be reading this bit. |

i know this is an old post but i am having the same problem as described above. Single knock when braking not all the time but its very annoying. Did you manage to find out what this was??
