Whats that noise ?

On sharp bumps, like the SMALL speedbumbs we get out here im geting a knock from the front right corner. I dont think its the shocker, could it be bushes ? Ive heard they are prone to a bit of ware at the front ?

Also can anyone point me in the direction to get some service info for my local guy ? I cant get it into Land Rover for 8 weeks !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bushes would be my first guess. Had similar on the left on cornering. Lower arms both sides sorted it out. 2010 Disco XS TDV6, 2009 Freelander 2 GS

+1 depends on your roads as to how quickly they wear out.

How can you check? Jack the front of the car up and grab hold of the wheel. Look at the suspension components while you are wiggling the wheel and replace whichever part you see moving. Not sure you should be reading this bit.

this is the nearest post I could find to address my recent problem................

A single "knock" from the front end BUT only when braking Question My brakes seem fine, nice and smooth, no shaking or anything like that. Doesn't do it every time but more frequently than not.

Any suggestions/insight would be appreciated Thumbs Up

i know this is an old post but i am having the same problem as described above. Single knock when braking not all the time but its very annoying. Did you manage to find out what this was??
