Dab Radio

When did DAB Radio become available in the L322? 5.0 Supercharged methinks. Also is there a kit to convert our radio to Dab and have it looking bog standard?

not sure on the age of your car, there are many FM transitters out there, you could maybe get a DAB portable radio with FM trasmitter all hidden in the glovebox tune your FM radio into your DAB bluetooth/sat nav will still work as normal

found one for £40 on ebay

Anyone used one of those and can report on how reliable they are?

DAB signal in my old car was excellent 100% of the time due to an aerial on the inside of the screen. Guessing this won't be a match for that though?

Alanm do you have it plugged in direct to the cigar lighter or hard wired? I was trying to find one I could discreetly hide away and maybe keep it wired in the glovebox.. I have an intravee but the dab units for it are like hens teeth to source..

I have it hard wired and plugged into the aux input of the RSE. The only thing you can see is the display unit

DAB Radio

Is it possible to fit DAB Module AH42-19C032-AE AH42-14D401-AA to an earlier (2005 touch screen) radio?

Is that also the case for a 2006 model - I ask as I have successfully fitted a AH42-19C032-AE hybrid tv controller , and can get the DAB controller from the same vehicle if it will work - part number as above
