Can anyone recommend a specialist to do a transmission fluind change on my 4.4 TDV8. I'm looking for a garage located somwhere in or around the Northamptonshire/Leicestershire boarder area?

Not too difficult to do yourself - plenty of info on here as to how. As an aside, whether you do it yourself, or have it done, replace the sealing sleeve where the wiring loom goes in to the gearbox - less than £10 to buy, but you have to replace it with the gearbox sump pan removed (as this is the only way to get at the retaining clip).

Thanks Ray, I thought my box on the 4.4 TDV8 was sealed for life and required a specialist company to pump the new in and the old out. My Independent garage didn't want to do it, I will investigate a little further. |
