By that logic perhaps you should have a Defender? They have no equipment to break! |

It's not a hand grenade! (2 nerdly engineers having a conversation during vehicle development: We'll detonate the battery and make sure there is no power left to cause a fire...) If it went off, you'd hear a 'pop' and the terminal would jerk in your hand. That would be about it. On the + terminal, BTW (as Joe already said). RRC 2Dr, RRC 4Dr, P38, and 2 L322s (wife thinks I'm nuts - prob right, too) |

Try turning the steering full lock to lock- either that or driving for 5-10 minutes should also clear it. |

Thanks, did the steering thing, but nothing noticeable happened - do I just go from centre to Left full then Right full? Should I see some lights or hear some beeps etc?

turning the steering from left to right only sets the steering parameters...hopefully the error will go out once the suspension goes up and down a few times... ... - .- -.

The steering parameters are for the DSC and if there is a "fault" with the DSC then the EAS locks in "lower than standard" height. Not being able to tell which way the steering is turning is classed as a fault... So turn lock to lock, then the DSC light will go out. Then once thats gone out a cycle of the ignition "should" clear the EAS warning. |
