So I noticed that there is a switch? on the end of the throttle pedal. I assume this is a WOT switch, maybe for protecting the transmission? But when I stay out of this switch I get 10psi to hold strong. As soon as I get into this switch I go back to 8psi...which is what the stock pulley was.

Just emailed Powerhouse, apparently they don't offer a fitting service for the RR Sad
Looks as if it could be a buy the parts :- Modified snout with 10% pulley fitted and do it myself?

I haven't read through the repair manual to see if I can piece together how things are working and what that switch is for...but. Today I had a short drive and thought that maybe the DSC may have some interaction with that switch. So I turned it off and I don't seem to see the boost cut/limit at 8psi. Needs more testing but this is interesting Smile

After some light reading:

"A detente mechanism is located at the forward end of the housing and is operated by a ball located on the drum. At near maximum throttle pedal movement, the ball contacts the detente mechanism. A spring in the mechanism is compressed and gives the driver the feeling of depressing a 'kickdown' switch when full pedal travel is achieved."

"The APP sensor has two potentiometer tracks which each receive a 5V input voltage from the ECM. Track 1 provides an output of 0.5V with the pedal at rest and 2.0V at 100% full throttle. Track 2 provides an output of 0.5V with the pedal at rest and 4.5V at 100% full throttle. The signals from the two tracks are used by the ECM to determine fueling for engine operation and also by the ECM and the TCM to initiate a kickdown request for the automatic transmission."

So it sounds like the WOT switch is the detente mechanism that is only there to give feeling to the driver. I understand the need for the pedal to feel as if it were an actual throttle cable...but to add the kick down switch feeling is strange to me. In any case, the kick down operation is obviously monitored and used. And I imagine is has some power limiting qualities as IIRC the 6HP26 trans is maxed out with torque/hp on the 4.2SC engine.
