Ok, removed and reseated 3 connectors and refitted.

Have to wait and see if the engine cut out is solved.

The pictures appear to be for a LHD vehicle as my RHD vehicle has the PCM on the left just in front of the battery. Furthermore, the PCM appears to have 2 connectors (one with very many wires) whereas the Transfer Case control module that's mounted on the RHS has 3 connectors.

Ok. Problem still there. I managed to capture of log of the engine waivering in Revs and then cutting out.

I'm not sure which Line Values I should be choosing as I'm not sure if I am capturing the right logs.
Any thoughts ?

The 2nd MAF's values will be of no consequence at idle.

who said anything about at idle Question

but then depending upon the response there could be a variance at idle as well. Regards

The graph shows engine speed as idle or not much more. The 2nd turbo doesn't get used until around 2500 rpm so I expect that its MAF wouldn't see any airflow.

A low output crankshaft position sensor is a prime candidate for the engine spinning without firing when trying to start and also a good candidate for intermittent engine cessation. The graph showing engine speed momentarily dropping to zero yet obviously the engine hadn't stopped because it then spiked to 1400 rpm is the real clue.

I would start looking at the sensor wiring harness. The sensor is located low in the RHS (not LHS as stated earlier) of the block at the back of the engine where perhaps its wiring has chaffed and is intermittently shorting, or the sensor is loose.

Hi All,
Just to clarify what was happening with the vehicle. I was drinking up to my house at about 20mph and the engine cut out completely. I rolled to a safe stop.

I then plugged in the IIDTool, to grab the Faults and some Live Values.

I think the failure happened at 11:02:2017 20:01:##
I had earlier changed a configuration file as I had a problem with Door Mirror Puddle Lights. I had enabled these in file and now they are reporting as failures. There is a separate thread on this subject. http://www.fullfatrr.com/forum/topic41314.html

Amyway, after I plugged in the tool and gathered the faults, I restarted the vehicle and drove in to my driveway. On the driveway, the engine started to vary revs as idle, as if it were going to cut out. That is when I captured the Line Values and graphs I.e. As a second failure point.

Do you hav guestions of any other line Values I should look to capture today ?
Thx

Below are the Faults list.

Perhaps the ecm/pcm reported voltage if it's available.

Thx,
I'm heading out in the cold to check what other Values are available.
I know Voltage is available, but I think it will be at the floating charge level of the Alternator i.e. about 13.5v rather than an internal level from the PCM.

Ok. voltage at PCM seems a static 14.7V

I have captured a steady idle Line Value graph and included Mass Air Flow. There is only one MAF on the ECU.

I'll try and capture a failure mode graph, but they are pretty irregular intermittent.
Thx
