LED Sidelights

I have just bought and fitted the lamps below, I just wondered if these could possibly run too hot and damage the plastic reflector, anyone have any experience of this??? or thoughts?

1 watt of light is 683 lumens, thus a 5 watt wedge bulb producing the specified 50lm is using less than 0.1W of those 5 watts to produce visible light - the remaining 4.9 or so is (broadly) emitted as heat. Assuming the stated 3.08W power consumption of those bulbs is accurate, they don't even draw as much power as a filament bulb would emit as heat, so there should be no need to worry. They look ideal to me, can't see why you should have any problems at all. Thumbs Up

How do they look and were they easy to fit?

Soon to be owner of 2005 SC just waiting to collect.

I have a few mods I would like to make but need to space them out to keep it off the Mrs is radar. this would be a minor one at that price.

Sorry to resurrect an old thread.

Do you have any issue with the bulbs strobing/flashing when you start the car with lights off?

I bought some different ones off the bay of plenty which flash on start up, presumably as the system checks whether anything is blown.
