if you have a full size spare wheel there should be a wheel lifting strap kit - this was missing on my new one - took a couple of calls to the dealer to convince him it should be there, they eventually supplied it FOC various other LR's this one is still the best |

I bought the wheel lifting strap kit from Dan @ Duckworths. It is only a few pounds and easy to instal. |

I don't know if it's the same on the 405 but the 322 has two straps that attach in the wheel well wall near the back seat, go under the wheel and a long black plastic 'bracket' that slots into the lower tailgate lock.

its different on the L405. One leg of the strap has a hook which goes on to the top of the rear tailgate opening. then a lifting plate on the other leg fits in the centre of the wheel and the remaining strap is pulled to lift the wheel from the well like you were using a block and tackle. Agueroooooooooo. 93-20
