missing bits. tool kit?

Hi all,

Just noticed i am missing my locking wheel nut from my new ranger over,
under the spare wheel in the foam section is just a wheel brace and further back under the seat is the jack

Should there be anything else? the foam section has lots of empty sections, tool kit etc?

if you have a full size spare wheel there should be a wheel lifting strap kit - this was missing on my new one - took a couple of calls to the dealer to convince him it should be there, they eventually supplied it FOC various other LR's this one is still the best

I bought the wheel lifting strap kit from Dan @ Duckworths. It is only a few pounds and easy to instal.

Hi
After reading the listings and posting the picture I decided to clean the boot out.
If you have ever tried removing the spare wheel you would not do it without the lifter. If you dont have one get one. I am reasonable strong but this is very difficult and heavy.

Hopefully you guys will never need to try.
Cheers

Any help appreciated.

Missing the first aid kit which is no biggie but will ask my dealer for a replacement. all smug in my new plug!

I don't know if it's the same on the 405 but the 322 has two straps that attach in the wheel well wall near the back seat, go under the wheel and a long black plastic 'bracket' that slots into the lower tailgate lock.

Unravel the black bracket, put in the lower tailgate and open...hay, presto! The wheel is lifted upwards on slightly forwards of the wheel well.

its different on the L405. One leg of the strap has a hook which goes on to the top of the rear tailgate opening. then a lifting plate on the other leg fits in the centre of the wheel and the remaining strap is pulled to lift the wheel from the well like you were using a block and tackle. Agueroooooooooo. 93-20
I swear you will never see anything like this ever again....watch it..drink it in.

The first aid kit is a option.
