I had a 2010 3.6 TDV8 it displayed exactly the same symptoms, however mine occurred when working hard under load with a caravan on the back. Turned out to be the inlet hoses, one of which had developed a very small tear underneath which was difficult to see but opened up and caused the symptoms under load. Range Rover Sport 2023 D350 Autobiography

^ Was it a tiny tear on one of the top hoses?

Yes, the tear was underneath and so small the LR customer service guy that attended me didn't spot but the experienced tech at the dealers went to it straight away given the faults reported. The dealers thought it could have been there a while as it didn't show up under normal conditions and only showed when climbing steep hills with the van on the back on the motorway. However the catalogue of faults read like the original post and caused the car to go into reduced performance mode. The dealers fixed it and replaced both hoses as a precaution, I then put the van on the back and did the same journey without any further incidents the following day. Range Rover Sport 2023 D350 Autobiography

Thanks very much.
I had the same symptoms towing my caravan to Cornwall.
The hoses were only 12months old but maybe they were the problem.
I did double check them.
It hasn't replicated the problem for the last 4 months, towing once on a short trip.
I might just change the hoses again.
It's not good losing all power with a van on the back.
Cheers

Eventually fixed, well I hope so anyway, needs a long run to test it out.

Mine was quiet a large tear however I only got the error 3 times.

Does anyone know where the rest of the hose kit goes?

Thanks L322 TDV8 Vogue SE Java Black

The following diagram should help. Basically, you've replaced the top two - highlighted yellow (which are the ones that seem to commonly fail). The others are to the bottom of the intercooler and I guess are much harder to get at. They were on the TD6, anyway.

Got the dreaded Bong and exactly the same error messages as you Walshy. Restricted performance, Active Stability Control Not Available etc. Even the confirm ride height message after a restart. Have checked the wires on the struts but all good there so hopeing its just a split hose. Couldn't see anything visibily obvious so have booked in with the local Independant who will put it on the diagnostics machine. Times like this i wish i had an IID tool! Although not sure if a cracked inlet hose will show up as an error?

Has happened twice now in 4 days and on the motorway the 2nd time which is not a good feeling. Crying or Very sad

Have taken some comfort from this thread that its a common easy fix problem. Will report back findings after Monday Range Rover Vogue SE 2010

take the passenger side one off, and check it under the webbing to see if its split - the link to the how to is on the previous page, it takes 5 mins and required no spanner skills.

if it is it will be a 5 min fix and save you quite a few quids at the indy, and you can order the replacements either from dan for an original set or some silicone ones (again a link on the previous page.

Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

walshy, dont think the larger bottom ones are too bad, its the short ones which are a right PITA apparently. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Cheers northernmonkeyjones Thumbs Up

Will have a proper look over the weekend. I should have checked under the webbing which I didn't, doh! If it is a split hose at the top then will have a go at replacing myself. If not then will have to see what the mechanic has to say Rolling Eyes Range Rover Vogue SE 2010

Very interested in the outcome.........
My top hoses are not split but i was getting the same symptoms when towing my caravan.

No problems on a day to day basis, only when under extreme load. Rolling Eyes

Would if it's under load I would suspect hoses somewhere.

If not the top hoses then the bottom or the short ones! There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
