Part of heated screen not working properly..

Anyone else got this? The screen is original LR glass. Heats fine everywhere apart from these 3 small stripes.. They clear eventually, It seems they just take longer! Had to be infront of the driver didn't it Laughing Rolling Eyes

Although I did suffer a terminal crack in the screen the other day Evil or Very Mad So I'm hoping that it will all be put right soon... Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Today I are one!

New windscreen is the only way to cure it - there are only a couple of connectors for the screen - all the other wiring & filaments are embedded into the glass, so once they're gone there's nothing you can do

In your first photo, the amount that hasn't cleared is about the amount that does clear in mine Neutral

The whole of my driver's side doesn't work whereas the whole of the passenger side does work.
Unfortunately I don't quite trust SWMBOs judgement enough so I wait for my side to clear before setting off...

If a whole half doesn't work, remove the "A" pillar trim (one screw under the airbag badge then pull off) and check the plugs at the base of the pillar, two plugs like this...
