The idea has been around for years, had a go at doing a Ford van some years ago, you can run a diesel on 20% lpg into the incoming air, if driven normally it will reduce the amount of diesel you use but by less than 20%... or, put your foot down and you get extra performance...
The problem is trying to get the mix just right, too little and nothing happens, too much and you will damage the engine...
It really isn't worth doing unless you are doing starship milage as the payback time is very high...
We ran the van with it for several years and it ran fine but the cost saving was a few pounds a month.... Pete
