Normally disconnect both the battery negative and positive cables after waiting the prescribed time (in the wiki), then wait a good 10 minutes then touch the two cables together for about a minute.

Check and recheck your connectors if you removed the door card. Loads of peeps had the same, it's a case of making sure the connectors are pushed fully in.

I went through exactly the same with my passenger side mirror when doing the cable. After having the door card off several times I found I had to remove the grey retaining clip off the mirrors multi plug and push it in firmly and all worked fine and still does. |
