Drivers door mirror

Range Rover 2007 vogue se-----My cable going from the door handle to the lock snapped -- I replaced cable all working again -- my problem is now the drivers side mirror doesn't work I can't adjust from switch --- the power fold is still working -- I removed door card again and checked all wiring all seems good
Another issue is that when I started car and reversed the parking sensors are not working I don't know if this is a coincidence or a related fault
When I put my ear to them none of them are clicking (as I have replaced a front 1 a few years ago with this method)
When I disconnect the rear loom from the pdc module all the front ones make a clicking sound but when I plug it back in all sensors are silent

Thanks in advance for soloutions

Have you done a battery disconnect and ECU reset?

It's usually best to if you're experiencing problems with your electronics, especially after working on the car.

Best of luck.. ______________________________

Normally disconnect both the battery negative and positive cables after waiting the prescribed time (in the wiki), then wait a good 10 minutes then touch the two cables together for about a minute.

The IIDtool from GAP is about the only diagnostic tool anyone on this forum will recommend. I have the Bluetooth version and it's brilliant, you can do loads of things the dealers can do and possibly more.

They are sponsors of this forum and another sponsor Duckworths sell them, contact Dan from Duckworths for a price. They aren't cheap but they are worth it.

Best of luck. ______________________________

Check and recheck your connectors if you removed the door card. Loads of peeps had the same, it's a case of making sure the connectors are pushed fully in.
+1 for the iid tool, excellent piece of kit.
Thumbs Up

I went through exactly the same with my passenger side mirror when doing the cable. After having the door card off several times I found I had to remove the grey retaining clip off the mirrors multi plug and push it in firmly and all worked fine and still does.
