diagnosing front parking sensors

ok i'm a bit confused on this. my iidtool says no issues. i did the key on press sensor button. my rears give warning tone. the front right outer clicks and the others are silent. no tone when standing in front of any front sensor. anyone know what this means and what to test next? thanks.

If the rear is giving a warning tone, as far as I know it would be a problem with the rears.

I know mine has an intermittent problems that always comes up on my iCarSoft i903 but sometimes they do work, i've swapped the sensor out so have come to the conclusion I need a new loom.

Just getting round to doing it, that might be your problem also!

Maybe I should have said the rears work normal. I guess I will just try the good front one in the other positions and see if I still get click.

Ok I got around to using the iidtool live values to test sensors. My live values show that the sensors are working yet it still doesn't give tone in the cab. What next? Are there 2 different tone speakers where one could be bad? Live values for the rear sensors are the same as the front yet the rears work fine.

OK system descriptions section of RAVE showed 2 Sounders. One is either part of or attached to the instrument cluster. Anyone know where it is at?

Yeah I think the front one is part of the instruments. So if all the other sounds are working, indicator clicks etc. then its ok.

I assume the fronts are enabled in the software

Thanks Andy K. I will check again on the software enabled. I didn't notice that option but I was looking for testing. Is the front sounder replaceable or does it require a new instrument cluster. That would be a stupid design.

Update. I replaced the front parking aid speaker. I now have door and lights on chimes but still no front parking sensor sounds. Just to recap-
1 click test is heard in all four front sensors.
2. iidtool shows no faults
3. Iidtool configuration file shows them activated.
4. iidtool live values show them responding to objects (me) in their path the same as the rears.

Any clues?

Problem solved.
Bad sounder electronics. Replaced with good used one.
