Right, ignore all that rubbish I posted above, had a wade back through my emails and Erisin say to copy the update.img and mcu.img to an SD card and update with that...

I seem to remember trying to help you on some of these subjects when you posted a few weeks ago, but you didn't answer so I assumed you had sorted them.

I think I have to mention on here that if you try to update the software on these headunits, there is a distinct possibility that you will turn your head unit into an expensive paperweight.... just like all Android tablets/phones, etc

Mine runs 4.2, I do have software for 4.2 or you could try the 5.1 software above, no guarantees but it might sort it out... If not a new 5.1 head unit is £260 (with postage and import duty included) so still half the price of most bit's that fail with the original stuff...!!! http://www.erisin.com/erisin-es3061b-7-and..._uploads=0 Pete __________________________________________________ 2014 L405 Autobiography SDV8 4.4 Loire Blue Ebony interior 2011 L322 Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8 Baltic Blue. Copy all the files on the link above to the root directory of a blank sd card, turn off the unit, insert the SD card into the GPS slot, then a long press of the power button until the screen displays the update image ,remove your finger from the power button then press the button again, choose "update system/MCU image from/sd card" then a long press of the power button again until the update starts.
