I believe aux heating only activates over 15 degrees ambient. Is it the original fob? They do need pairing with the car and even if original may have lost pairing at some change of battery etc.

Park heating will only come in if ambient is less than 16 C. Cooling only if over 16 C. If you have changed the battery then, as suggested, you may well have to pair the remote again. First thing to try.

Okay, the latest is I have put new batteries in the remote, waiting until the temp was below 16 deg C, pulled the fuse to resync but the result is nothing happens with the heating. I get a green light on the remote for a few seconds and then that's it.

Pulling the fuse doesn't seem to work on post 2006 cars , so find the receiver unit in the right rear where you will find it on the back of the mounting bracket and sync your remote by pulling out the power lead . 2008 MY Supercharged

Thanks Axle, but how do I find out if the FBH itself is faulty? |

Just re-read your first post. Suggests your FBH is broken. |

Update, pulled fuse 56 and then did system reset diagnostic test and now the fans are running when I press manual and via the remote. Does the fbh not turn on unless ambient temp is colder? |
