Hi i have a 4,4 autobiography and i have the HDC fault and air susoension inactive and all the lights on and stuck in normal ride height i have put on my code reader and it says CAN bus fault and will not clear any body any ideas |

Firstly check battery voltage, needs to be 12 volt + no to cause silly messages on the screen of doom

Hi another forum says it could be an ABS sensor that triggers these messages |

Hi my code reader is a carsoft i930 it is for all Land Rover and jaguar models and it comes up with CANbus fault and will not clear the first time i tried it the fault cleared and then when i set off out of the driveway the messages came back on and the ABS light |

The canbus fault is a standard fault that most early BMW FF's have, when Ford bought RR they wouldn't pay BMW to remove some faults that were standard to the systems, hence a fare few faults appear on all FF's

Personally I wouldn't have anything other than an IID tool but at over £400 they are not cheap....

Hi Pete thanks for that i have just found one on ebay for £275 this must be a good buy then for probelems on L322 then do they go into more detail |

Is it a blue tooth one? and they are type specific, ie 2002-2005 etc they can read and do more than the system the dealers use...

Glad your sorted... I do that as routine... clear the faults and see if they return, otherwise you just waste money on bit's you don't need.... Pete

Hi I have put my code reader on agin today and I am getting precharge pump fault so I have put another one on still got same faults and will not clear I also have precharge pump pressure sensor fault and don't know where to find that but I also checked wires to pump and no live any body any ideas |
