It may be the ignition switch but I am betting on the ABS sensor, always bound to set all those things off, but strange that they all clear. .

I know that you've replaced the battery, but have you checked the voltage? low voltage can play havoc with the screen of doom, it can throw up all sorts of funny messages, when what it really means is "voltage low" , but for some inexplicable reason this was omitted from it's vocabulary

I agree with Miggit, it still points towards low voltage and maybe you have a voltage drain or the alternator is giving you issues. Just try measuring the voltage under various circumstances and check the drain amperage. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!

LOL!! I upset my wife (and my colleagues!) when I call it a 'car'.... Living in Devon I think it's a criminal offence to call any vehicle with four wheel drive capabilities anything other than a truck!

Oh yes there is an immobiliser and it's a pita, linked to central locking, ignition and steering lock, and possibly the gearbox too..... I vaguely remember it's part of the BCM but I could be wrong...

I know, the irony!! My wife is going to have to slum it in a kangoo van which we aren't using at work for a few days, and I'm taking the RR up to my specialist in Somerset for him to have for a few days because l've had enough!! The thing won't even start now!!
