fitting lights issue

Today I removed my old damaged headlight and indicator and fitted a brand new indicator unit and a headlight from a breaker..the new headlight never had the gas discharge control so I swapped the one from my damaged headlight to the new one..this is where the problems started...car dash is now lit up like a Xmas tree and eas suspension inactive faults on dash...tried to put side lights on and lights all seem to be out if sync..to top it off my otherwise healthy battery died very quickly!

Now charging battery and cant get at it until tomorrow which is hugely frustrating! Any ideas before I get back into it tomorrow? Thanks

Also meant to say old lights where working perfect before I replaced headlight, indicator today? Could it be a.poor connection?

Solved! Came out to car today and although lights were off there was still a headlight bulb on solitary? Jumped started car and she fired up...tried indicator again and the side light was flashing and the indicator part if unit was stationery...remebered I had disconnected old bulbs and fitted new ones and for some reason I had mixed up connectors hence the flashing sidelight Laughing Could this incorrect wire up contributed to the quick battery depletion...i also had the tailgate open for a good bit so possibly that did it....anyway happy again.....
