If there is no light in the center of the knob that raises and lowers the suspension then you have a hard fault and it needs a diagnostic tool to reset it... even if you find and fix the problem...

Press the middle of the height control button to extinguish the light and give it a go...... when the light is on the EAS is locked in the current height and can not be adjusted.......

As Miggit says, if the light goes out, great, it should work, if it doesn't go out you have a soft fault, fixing the fault will extinguish the light without using diagnostics, but you will still need one to read the faults to establish the fault... |

Well sort of... it will reset the EAS, and get you out of a jamb, but it will also leave you wishing that you'd put the £100 towards an IID tool |

It is a bit of an expense to swallow, but I can guaranty that you wont be left thinking I wish I'd got the cheaper one.... Where as if you were to get the cheap one you will very soon be banging your head when something goes wrong and some nice peep says easy fix... plug in your IID tool |

If you're going to keep the FF for any length of time it is well worth it, they always have a good resale value as well, so over it's life with you, it's cheap..... Pete

Have you tried turning the steering lock completely to one side then completely to the other? That might clear the message. Current:

It is locked to a particular VIN for CCF adjustment, it will read and clear faults on all LR products that it works for, if you buy another vehicle I think it's £25 to get your tool swapped to that one or £60 to add another vehicle to your tool.... |
