Upgraded Head Unit 2004 Part3

Hi , just a quick one , the buttons to the side of the main screen on the Dynavin N6 head unit are not back lit at night .
I haven't found this an issue ( it could be argued less light is better ) as the screen and using the steering wheel controls are more than sufficient .
Anything else i think of as time goes by i'll let you all know .

At the risk of causing offence, or maybe I've misunderstood and you're referring to a certain sub-set of buttons, but have you checked the illumination connection between the car and the head unit?

My new head unit initially lit up bright red but in the Settings>Elements menu the RGB component colours can be tuned to match the car.

Just a little bit of advice mate, spreading one topic across many different posts isn't very efficient nor is it easy for future forum users to find the information they might be looking for.

Why not just title the first post something like:-

Upgraded Head Unit - Dynavin N6 - My Observations

Then just edit your first post each time you wish to say something else about it?

You'll keep everyones responses in the same place, plus in 6 months time when someone else comes along asking about the forum members thoughts on the Dynavin N6 head unit it will be easier to just direct them to a single post containing lots of information rather than many posts (part1, part2, part3 etc.) holding convoluted bits of information.

End of the day though, welcome to the forum and I hope you have fun. Thumbs Up Dan
