Multiple, unrelated faults being reported is usually a dodgy battery. |

Hi Ivor. The 2007/08 TDV8 has a common issue with most needing a replacement alternator at some point ( mine went at 80k) so worth checking the Alternator output. The voltage should be around 14.4v at tickover. GONE 2010 Facelifted 3.6 TDV8 - Stornoway Grey + 22" Overfinch Olympus

just chucked the charger on there and ran a few tests it's getting 14.6v with the engine running and it has 300amps but when i turned the engine off and checked again the battery is only showing 60% so i've left it on charge and i'm going to see what comes of it thanks for the advice luckily the battery has a lifetime warranty on it L322 2008 vogue

Recently had exactly the same, was traced to a faulty alternator causing voltage spikes. Had it replaced, all ok so far... |

Well it took the main dealers 3 hours to find the fault which turns out to be a Abs sensor knackered and a dead Abs module hopefully get it back tomorrow but more likely monday L322 2008 vogue
