Costco is great for batteries. If I recall, I bought a 100A/h Bosche for £84 with a 5 year warranty for our old BMW. That was compared to the BMW dealer 90A/h with 2 year warranty for £136.

Shouldnt it be pumping out around 14.4V? With absolutely everything loaded I would expect to see 12.5V output. |

Agreed, every alternator I've ever checked has been 14.4v. You might want to get it checked out? 2006 Mercedes CLS

In an ideal world one would want to check the output right off the back of the alt' however this is not really possible. Just make sure your connections are good and your battery terminals are clean/tight when you test.

It does seems low. It doesnt leave much margin for error - ie if you start turning lights, heater blower, heates screen, wheel and seats on. D |
