Thanks again. I should be able to lever it off. These incidents are a PITA, but better happening at home than beside the road somewhere. ______________________________

Well I'm on my 2nd attempt to fit some new wheels. Now the locking wheel nuts on two wheels seem to be broken. The outer part on the nut is spinning but not undoing. I haven't used a rattle gun this time, just the wheel brace.

Argghh! http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic68161.html Suggest you replace them with normal ones once you've got them off. Visiting from DISCO3.CO.UK

Well I've wasted most of today trying to get the two wheel nuts off. With no success.

you can buy wheel nut sockets that have a screw thread inside them...you turn the socket anti clockwise and the thread bites into the damaged nut and undoes it.. ... - .- -.
