Hi All,

Ive got the Adaptive dynamic fault up again and I've found the break in the wire but decided to replace with the upgraded harness. My question is, what is the adaptive dynamic fault. Guessing its to do with the suspension but just not sure exactly what it does??

'Adaptive dynamics continuously analyses the vehicle's movements while being driven. The system will react instantaneously to road conditions and the driver's actions. Infinitely variable suspension dampers will help to maintain a composed and balanced ride'

You'll note the ride is not so smooth when you get the Adaptive Dynamics Fault as the system isn't continuously adjusting.

That makes total sense.
Driving to work this morning it felt quite a bumpy/floaty ride but i thought it was all in my head.

Should feel like a new car again in a few days.

Mine just went ping an hour ago...

The fault is easy to find as is repair but this is the second time it's happened and wire feels very weak. Worth investing in the upgrade.

Agreed , I have the upgrade kit did the other side a few months ago, so we can say the life expectancy is 6 years

6 years? So I should expect mine to go shortly, then.

What's this 'upgrade kit' consist of??? Regards,

Mainly it's just a longer wire. The original wire is very tight and being that it is a thin wire over time just brakes.
I did originally solder mine back together but that has only bought me a few months. I think the upgrade is only about £30 if I remember correctly.

When I got that earlier this year it was a rear shocker that had failed, replaced under extended warranty.

Your right, the suspension wire is a pure sign of bad engineering or design. The fact it fails so commonly should have made it a recall.
