I had Air Susp. Inactive and iCarsoft i930 scanner tells me reservoir pressure is at 23.48 bar.
Is there a safe way to release this before I start dismantleing system?
removing outlet pipe to valve block has no effect

Something has gone wrong there it shouldn't be higher that around 190 PSI yours is at 340 PSI....

What work are you going to do that you need to release the pressure...??? Pete

I had Air Susp. Inactive error, my scanner said Recervoir Perssure was 23.48 bar which seemed ridiculous to me. Have depressured system at valve block and that seems to be working OK and have got reservoir off car.
I think it is just faulty sensor that needs replacing. Have removed that - very carefully - but there is still hex fitment in back of tank. I think that maybe has one-way valve in it.
I will replace sensor, and hopefully won't need the valve block I just bought

Just poked small cable tie into connector holes at both ends of air-tank. Conclusion, there isn't a non-return valve so sensor is defective and needs replacing. That's about £35 and hopefully I can get one be tomorrow and put it all back together.
THEn . . . I hope I can get a refund on the valve block that I hopefully don't need after all.

That's what I figured after finding the normal pressure range of the system.
Pressure sensor just ordered for delivery tomorrow (hopefully) from Rimmer Bros.
But I think I need something a bit more sophisticated as a scanner than my i930 (but it was < £100)

Sounds like the culprit....

You can't beat the IID tool for sorting out the EAS, will even get you home if you have a failed height sensor or some other fault that drops the suspension, you can switch off the control system and inflate individual corners to level the car and get you home...  Pete

So . . Pressure sensor replaced, and valve block too. All put back together but even after reset, still no Air Suspension.
Latest suggestion is that the wiring to the pressure sensor is damaged and needs to be repaired or replaced.

Now seeking out wiring diagram before I start.

If you get the codes read, or work through the live values you won't be spending good money on guesswork...!!! Pete

I either spend £300 on an IIDtool (which I ought to do really) and then do the repair
Or . . . I spend a bit of time tracing and repairing or replacing the wire (at no cost) and see if that does it for now

Oh yes, very easy to check the continuity of the wires, I bet they are fine though and the fault lies elsewhere, you have already spent money on a sensor which was probably OK, it is easy to get into just replacing bits you "think" are broken...

You don't even need man maths to justify an IID tool, keep the car for a while and it will save you a fortune, then when you sell the car you can flog it for 60-70% of it's purchase price...  Pete
