Afternoon guys.
I had my AC regassed and it only lasted a few hours.
This morning the mobile guy turned up to trace the leak using his UV lamp.
At first he couldn't find anything but then he climbed under neath and said the whole area around the compressor is glowing.
He couldn't say if it was the compressor or joints to it.
He then completely swerved the repair and said I need to take it to a workshop.
My question is, is it easy to access it and possibly change it?
He didn't fancy it one little bit!!

A bit late to reply to this, but on some models the lowside charge port is fairly close to and above the compressor. If the "entire area is glowing" this may be pointing to a failed schrader valve in the port. This would be a cheap and easy fix.
