Would seem like VSR due to the LPG kit? Does it have flashlube? Don't here of too many people on here that have suffered with VSR |

Hi yes it has flash lube. It looks like the oil pipe is tee into the the 2 round lpg units that feed the gas injectors. The lub has dropped alot more than usual. |

If you over lube it, it will smoke like a pig... |

I had another look at the flashlube bottle setup. There are two lpg regulators with what looks like a vac hose coming off and going under the engine cover. The lub bottle is tee into this. I turned the screw valve on the bottle it only turned about 3/4 of a turn to close off. Didn't seem muvh |

Hi all, just had my 4.2sc with BRC and flashlube serviced and was ok. A few weeks later and just had LPG service, guy upped the flashlube drip as was hardly using any and now I get thick white smoke on startup a and no other time. Just switched it off for 10 mins started it again and no smoke. The car is parked on a steep drive. Oh and at regular service had new coolant bottle.

Cheers, seeing the LPG guy this morning. Totally trust him even though I have only just started using him as he showed me that others hadn't been servicing the car despite charging me for the last 4 years!!!! Current:

Smoking from car no fixed. Too much valve saver fluid was the culprit. Very very happy it wasn't anything else. Current:
