United Kingdom 2003 Range Rover HSE Td6 Zambezi Silver

Hi all , new here so hello to all .I've been reading a lot of posts here to try and resolve my problem with my vehicle. ..

OK , my range rover l322 03 plate wont get off bump stops , some history , owned her for last 10 weeks or so , only put on the road at start of last month , parked at work on slight incline and noticed that it was dipping on drivers side front when i left her about two hours later the whole front end had dropped but car looked level so i though it was ment to do that , came back after about six hours and moved her to flat ground expecting her to level off as she looked like a wedge of cheese , nothing happened. ...reversed into works yard and got out to have a look when i heard a lot of air escape from under car and back end went to bump stops , whole car now level but very low to ground , took to a friend garage who fount that the main air pipe from compressor to air tank had burst , when i took a closer look someone had botched a repair to pipe before i owned vechile and it burst at repair. So fixed the problen but now car wont lift off the bump stops , air suspension inactive message on dash , compressor in boot is new and working ok but car will not tell it to work , bypassed by jumping at relay and filled air tank replaced relay , still nothing , i have a icar 930 reader which tells me fault codes and clears them , when i clear codes on air suspension the compressor kicks in for 2 or 3 seconds and then stops and the faults come back , had it hooked up to a snap on machine wich says it had a communication problem with air suspension ecu , checked ecu and its getting power ok , ride height switch says its at motorway height and lock button lit at all times , tried disconnecting battery and crossing cables but still nothing , checked every fuse and all ok , anybody any ideas plezse ?

Hi everybody

As I suspect many have, I found this site while looking for a solution to a problem with my car. I think I have found the answer but registered as I may (will probably) need more help in future.

About me; live in Northamptonshire and actively participate in off-road trails with the All Wheel Drive Club

About my cars; drove BMWs for years, hence Username, and my wife still has one. Current fleet comprises;
L322 Range Rover TD6 SE, 2004 - now about 190k miles
Freelander 1 TD4 manual 5-door, 2004
BMW 330ci auto, 2001
RR Classic based off-roader, chassis cut to 88" wheelbase with Whitbread frame and body panels

Thanks for the advice gleaned so far

Regards
Andrew

Hi All
Jim here - recently bought my first L322. Previously owned a few P38 and very knowledgable about the common issues having dealt with suspension, alarm/immobiliser, cruise control, boot leaks, and plenty of other usual P38 probs.
Now bought a Dec2006 (07 model with key up on dash) TDV8, 90k miles. I have inherited a couple of issues with it Ive already started getting stuck into - but hoping I wont have as many ongoing probs to deal with as on my P38s !!

Hi All
Hello from Johannesburg.
Andi here and just bought a 08 TDV8 Vogue. I gleaned a lot of information from you here before buying. I was lucky to get a problem car really cheap and being ready for turbos it turned out to be an air hose. Pheew.
Ive owned a lot of rangies in the past and look forward to being part of the L322 club now

Evening everyone. Like many others I have just become the owner of an 03 plate L322 which has the usual problems but only 90k registered. Came here via a link to see the faults caused by a failed Final Stage Resistor. Pretty sure mine is duff!
I'll be back!

Morning.
New member ,well I am not new ,I am 52 but my membership is.
I don't have a RR yet as my wife insists I sell my defender first.
I really like the one Smutt has for sale. Hoping it doesn't sell just yet!
