2nd to 1st gear rollout thump is a known issue it can be dealt with with a software upgrade but it is a "feature " of the box and sometimes can't be totally eradicated the Land Rover technical bulletin is LTB00267, oh and Hi  2008 MY Supercharged

If its just been flushed by ZF... Surely they are your best bet for repairing the issue? No?

ZF clears and re-adapts the box, which they did.
They cannot program the new software, that is strictly done by LR according to ZF agent.
I have asked LR, awaiting a response.

Hi just end picked up my RR last Friday. Had a great weekend with it. Looking forward to finding out all about it. It's my first LR I'm a landcruiser convert.

^ just select tdv8 there aren't any capacities for that, as its either a 3.6 or 4.4 depending on year.  There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Hi All.

Had my new RR a week now. Had to give up my Frontera 2.2 (mine for ten years and never let me down) as we bought a bigger caravan and the Fronty couldn't cope. Decided it was time to join the big boys and I look forward to seeing what the difference is the next time I tow.
My initial thought was that all of the complaints re reliability couldn't possibly be true, but here I was after spending many extra pounds with the dealer, giving the car a full service (everything, not just the engine) finding that I had a battery that has decided to meet its maker. Had to fit a new one (not difficult when following threads on this site) and reset everything only to find that the fuel gauge is now showing empty when I know the tank is half full (notice I use the positive 'half full' rather than the negative 'half empty'). Hopefully this will re-calibrate itself eventually as I think that a problem with the senders occurring just as the battery died would be too much of a coincidence....... QUID FACIUM TIBI

Try a battery reset sir... Usually fixes glitches like that! Make sure though, when you re-attatch the battery lead, you put it on once, not on, off, on, off, on, off! dabbing the terminal! That creates issues too sir
