United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Vogue Td6 Zermatt Silver

Circa 300 mile round trip to the coast and back yesterday. So effortless and comfy. I love this car.

Having an enforced garage tidy up following a break in by some low lifes who need hanging up by their scrotums, vent vent!

I found some of those old cassette tape things, I thought I'd try them in the antique dash slot and they work, and what's more the system makes them sound ok. I wonder what happened to the rest after 3 house moves?
Oh what were they - Status Quo, Beach Boys, Robson and Jerome (the wifes that may not make it past the bin) and a vinyl to tape David Bowie that was great as it had the crackle of needle, magic!

respectable 14.5 to the gallon too.

14.5 mpg in an SC, with a 'box on the back!? Blimey!!
Best I can get in our 4.4 petrol is 14mpg with one horse and about 12.5mpg with two (and that's motorway most of the way at a steady 55 mph, lesser roads get down to less than 12mpg). 'Box is an Ifor Williams HB511, horses are full size. What are you towing?

I get just 12.5-13 on gas doing the daily commute!! Shocked

Today I turned my FF into a very posh builders wagon, with 400kg of concrete and wood for my workshop....

Wasted time.....

......Taking off the "new to me" style 11 wheels and painting the hubs with a "heat resistant" paint from the bay of e , it ended up see through or opaque at best after 3 coats so junked that , get some Hammerite silver hammered finish tomorrow and start again, the calipers came out pretty good though in Satin Black with new Brembo sticker and Laquered them up though so not a total, waste of time 😀

Ireland 2015 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Corris Grey

Bit late but Thursday. My self and two very beautiful young ladies got in the Range Rover. , drove to. Dublin , sat in traffic along the Quays , ( we were in comfort obviously but even comfort can't always keep you tranquil ) parked in a pre arranged spot and spent the rest of the evening watching a concert. , which concert I hear you ask , five seconds of summer , he answered I expect most of you to now head to the Google machine to discover the group for yourselves BUT the two beautiful girls ( 11 + 15 ) my daughters were joined by 5 - 10'thousand other teenager girls screaming at the slightest movement of these young gentlemen , so I wouldn't spend the time on the Google machine I saw one other dad and plenty of mums. I'm a flexible guy , normally comfortable at the theatre or the dogs or anywhere in between but standing by the merchandise stand , waiting for my girls while thousands of teens flocked past was one of the most uncomfortable moments of my life

The Range Rover cut a dash ( and not just for a 07 ) and transported us in comfort , style and with the music system given a though workout Also my daughters found a use for the Venture cam , singing into it while watching themselves on the screen. Not a use I had personally thought before

I love my Range Rover , not so much 5'seconds of summer !!! 2015 4.4 AB

Got up early drove to Cheddar Gorge. Wound down the windows, would up the engine and let go.
The echo from the rocks of the engine on full chat, well grin factor fantastic.
In fact so good the wife said lets go down and do it again.

Wonder how it would have sounded before I had the CAT welded back together?

Picked it up from Chesham where I had p/ex'd a P38 for it. Arrived home and then discovered the thing wouldn't start again Censored

Seems the battery is more then likely FUBAR

Neighbour has a battery which I'll put in tomorrow and see of that cures the issue.

Booked it in with my local Prins fitter after the check engine light came on. LPG kit was fitted in 2007 and about 135,000 miles ago: "So it's approaching the end of it's useful life then" he said cheerfully...
It hadn't better be, or I will be having words with Prins, wearing my journalist's hat... Best Cheers

Had the gearbox filter renewed and oil flushed as a precaution, there were no symptoms of anything amiss but at 120k miles and 10 years good insurance. Had the car into Hunters at Guildford as some of the recalls had been missed during its life, they carried out all FOC, however, on collecting the car I noticed a small dent in the rear wing which wasn't present when delivered. Being the organisation they are they arranged for a Dent Master type to rectify. Cant complain at the service and will use them again.

Thanks to Tony at Customer Care.
