could be as simple as a battery disconnection.......unless theres something in the menu that can do it. ... - .- -.

Yes I was going to do that but thought surely GAP tool would clear it...but it hasn't 2017 Range Rover Vogue SE SDV8 (with e-diff)

Do you keep the spare near the car? Mine was doing this the other day when SWMBO had a spare in her handbag, so we had 2 keys in the car. Obviously the new battery could well be crap? |

I recall a post on here a while ago in which the first (cheap) battery didn't solve the problem but a Duracell one did. Only Range Rovers since 1988 |

See the notes below it's a Dealer Special Service Bulletin I found on another forum... The advice given to press twice worked for me.

Thanks all - will try shiny brand new battery (not one that I admit was sitting in the drawer for a year) and see if it works.
