Go the SD V8 great torque when needed is not noisy and is very good on fuel for long trips I get around ten litres per hundred kilometres in Australian conditions. Thats not bad for two plus ton car. |

I test drove both and bought the TDV6 because it's a lot more refined than the V8. It does roll a bit more, but it feels lighter and more nimble. Having said that I'll probably go V8 next time just for a change. I don't think you'd be disappointed with either. The V6 is certainly quick enough, noticeably quicker than a 322 3.6 V8.

That's very interesting , as I tow the max 3.5 ton now and then I've only been looking for a TDV8 , it's the week gear box that worries me in the TD6 |

Thanks chaps, I seems the V6 is popular choice, and that is echoed in the used market, unless everyone is selling V6's to buy V8's!! I suppose the V6 could be chipped once out of warranty if I needed more.

That would be MY15 or MY15.5. I bought mine March last year, and it's one of the first MY15.5 |

I have owned a L322 3.6 and 4.4 TDV8 both chipped by JE. Now I own a L405 4.4 AB and have driven the L405 V6 over several days.
