My 16.0 my SC is only 8 months old and covered 2400 miles and is now telling me I need a service .
Any ideas

I presume it took 4 months from its build or PDI date find ins first owner? As the service indicator counts down 12 months as well as milage sir

I had a problem with the service indicator on my September 2015 L405.

I had done about 9,000 miles when the InControl app started saying it needed a service imminently. When I checked the Service menu the car had counted down to zero at less than 10,000 miles. I booked it in for a service but the dealer did a software update and said that the first service is due at 16.000 miles or 12 months whichever comes first.

My conclusion is that the software for the service indicator was faulty

Thanks, well I am certainly not going to spend a lot of money on a service on a car that is nearly new .

BTW, I see you are in Brighton. I bought mine from Caffyns in Lewes so if you did they have seen the problem before ie mine.
