this was the only fault (intermittent) with the FF im just buying. Dealer reckons there is a TSB for it.

think i had this yesterday, out of the blue had this crackling noise from one rear speaker whilst driving down a countey lane even with audio turned off. pulled over and had a bang around the speaker thinking loose connection but no joy. drove another mile or so and it just stopped, done over 200 miles today and no problems... |

Mine did this on the way in this morning. Turning the Audio off made no difference

It's a loose wire connection to the speaker. door card off and check for loose wire. |

HHmmm, not sure. Your system is gonna be different to mine (MOST) so I may be wrong?

Had this with mine few weeks ago. On investigation found condensation in the rear cubby hole were the amplifier is. Unplugged the base speaker and it stopped. After taking all the equipment out, found there was water dripping from under the rear side window. I have read that this is a common fault.
