Hi all , I have seen a Hawkeye diagnostic on the bay of flea. Can I use it on my l322 Range Rover as it is. Or do I need to program it as it obviously has been used on a previous vehicle. Any help would be great. Regards in advance Tony |

Don't think the Hawkeye will do very much... you need an IID tool to do everything you will need to do on an old FF...

Hawkeye is not cheap and is the real thing, ie the software is From the guys who did the original Land Rover programming.

Depending on what other vehicle the Hawkeye has been used on, you may need to purchase an unlock code for yours. Added to the cost of the purchase price it may work out more expensive than buying a new one. |

Hawkeye is a good bit of kit, idiot proof (good for me) self contained ,locked to a type of vehicle not 1 vehicle. shows faults on screen (no looking up fault codes) and clears them can drive actuators to test things like suspention and FBH ect but cant alter settings with it ,so impossable to anything up when using it ive had the hawkeye for around 5 years now and its been great just plug and play i also have the bluetooth IID tool for around 6 months but not even plugged it into the ff yet so cant comment on it yet, but yes i do beleve it is far more powerfull bit of kit because of the settings adjusting you can do |
