I worked for authorities that had 3.6 tdv8 L322s as motorway patrol vehicles, they were around the 150k mark when decommissioned, a couple suffered from turbo failure (one was lucky and had replacements and was back in action, the other ran on and killed the engine) but as you can imagine these had very, VERY hard lives. Towing lorries from live lanes onto the hard shoulder, pursuit work etc.
