Hey Lads. Sorry I haven't replied! I've been so busy at work and haven't even got to look at the car yet. My Brother is picking it up tomorrow and I'll get a chance at some stage over the next few weeks.

I'll keep you all updated! Thumbs Up

Received the Range Rover today. Didn't get a chance to do much with it. He drove it 500 miles home and said 'Engine System Fault' came up a few times.

Two Faults:

Manifold absolute pressure: turbocharger boost sensor A correlation &

Mass or volume air flow - Circuit range / performance.

Any suggestions?

You have taken a punt like I did and now have to face the reality of the situation!

Have you googled those faults?

Cheers, Jerry

I bought it as such. I knew these faults were present and whatever it is; be it turbo, actuator, split hose I'll get it fixed!

Just wonder what people think it's most likely to be?

Split hose would be my first port of call for a pressure related error.

If it's not that, keep your fingers crossed and check your bank balance Whistle Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue

You lucky, lucky bastid! I've just done the hoses, £60 odd quid the pair from Dan, you can get silicone ones but that another thread Rolling with laughter I've reasoned that if gen ones last a few years, that's good enough for me Thumbs Up

Replaced the pipe today. Working perfect, no more limp mode and and plenty of power. I was lucky by the sounds of it!!

Anything else I should do?

On another note. I currently have the car registered to me in Northern Ireland. Its on a cherished yearless plate.Roughly how much would this plate by worth? How would I go about selling it before I import the landy into the south.

Reporting back. All is well with the TDV8. No issues with limped mode or anything now. Has been working perfect for the past few days.

Now, I have a few new issues - which were their, but alas the engine limp mode was the most important to fix first.

My first issue is;

Drivers Door Barrel:
The drivers key will not manually open the drivers door. It's as if the barrel is broken. Is there another way to get in should the electronic part of the key fail. How would I fixed this.

Heated Seat:
The drivers heated seat is not working. The cool function is working, but not the heated. It worked fine for a while my brother told me. It lights up on the dash.

Reversing Camera:
The reversing camera just shows blank. It's black. Perhaps a lose wire, any particular place to start.

Rear Passenger Door:
It does not open from the inside.

These are my few simple issues. I've got her a service kit and I'm going to get it serviced this week, as it is slightly overdue. Thumbs Up

Please forgive me if this appears rude mate, but I hope you got this car for a blinking cheap price.

Not at all. Not one bit rude!

Vogue SE TDV8. Driving extremely tight with full service history. We've put over 2,000 miles on it since we got it.
