Hi Steve, any others gaskets/parts you think I should order for this job other than the thermostat housing and elbows.

There is a whole rake of gaskets that you could order, egr gaskets mainly, but I didn't bother.

i had mine done last year as it was cracked by my mate took him a few days and did a few other bits while stripped _____________________________________________________

That looked to be leaking worse than ours seeing all that crud around the oil filter housing.

It's possible there was more than one leak, I dis had a slow leak for over year which I couldn't find as I'd say as it leaked the heat from the engine evaporated the water leaving the coolant deposits. When it got worse that may have been the original leak or maybe a second leak. With the second leak sometimes I could see coolant under the car.
