I looked into this too ,as I fitted them on my old td5 ,but my indy stated there no use on a tdv8 as they will keep popping off so stay with genuine 2007 tdv8 se ,stornaway grey |

That seems strange that the silicon ones keep popping off.

The CAC (Charge Air Cooler) turbo hoses are rated for 6 bar workin pressure

It does seem very good for 6 hoses. Although 4 are very short.

The faint whistle is fairly normal seem to recall my 3.6 did it too at certain boost levels, mostly when cold. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
