Armed with an old bone handled flat bladed knife and a palette knife I took to the wiper fittings. Did as Miggit suggested and stopped the wipers at 12 o'clock, thus able to work on both from the drivers side, also dropped car to access height and used my little step stool. Placed an old mat on the windscreen to protect in the event of an arm slamming back on the screen (and it was needed!)

A drizzly morning so set off for work at normal. Started up the wipers with there new blades to be greeted by an eerie and uncanny silence as the aero blades swept back and forth. Not a sound or a squeak. I generally like to get some feedback from my mechanical devices so this was quite unnerving |

It was the not shaking themselves to pieces that I found most alarming, oh, and being able to see I don't think that there's any bit of the screen that they don't wipe perfectly......... |

Just fitted a pair of these blades, nice and easy with the how to, took no mre than 10 mins both sides. As others, super quiet and great wipe. In case anyone in Oz is on the lookout, I got the from Aliexpress, US$ 13.99 shipped for the pair so much cheaper than just one std blade. A no brainer if you need new wipers.

I've had mine on since the winter and have been really impressed, they're still very quiet, a massive improvement on the old Bosch 808 blades. I won't be going back to them. Discovery 4 HSE
