United States 2012 Range Rover Autobiography Supercharged Orkney Grey

So somebody in my office complex recently picked up a brand new L405 HSE in Scotia Grey with 20" Style 502 wheels (not a fan of these wheels at all). The other day our FFs were parked near one another and I had a couple thoughts and observations, of course completely subjective.

-It's unmistakable that the L322 has more presence and character vs. the L405. The Style 502 wheels on this particular model certainly didn't help in this case.

-Although I'm not fully sold on the Exterior Design Pack on the L322, it does modernize the overall appearance (has made a couple people think that it's the newer body style) taking it a little closer to the L405 in the aesthetics department.

-The L405 has grown on me quite a bit since 2013 launch but I still wish they tweaked the body style a little less.

-My least favorite L405 design elements are the lights and some other elements are similar to the new Ford Explorer.

-The L322 looks considerably larger than the L405, although I believe it is not.

What do you mean what's wrong with it? The V10 guzzles gas. It's known for it. If I get on it I will hit single diget MPG. Only on the highway I've managed to get ~22MPG. I'll likely keep it forever. The last of the V10's....and I doubt ///M will go back to NA now. 507hp on a NA engine with a 8750PRM redline is something! It's a screamer 2014 FF Autobiography 5.0 SC

horse86: You just made it sound like there was some technical issue with it, that's all. Hey, we are certainly doing our share to help stabilize oil prices Smile.

Haha I know right. Passed a Tesla the other day. License plate said "1 planet". I wish I had one of my mates over on M5board plate that says "LOL MPG" 2014 FF Autobiography 5.0 SC

To answer your leather question, I personally use Gliptone products (10 years+ as pro detailer). Cleaner, conditioner/dyes/sealants all available. Great to work with, restores some of that 'new leather' smell, and leaves a smooth natural sheen (NOT shine).

Its not overly expensive for what you get/use.

Im not sure of availablity in the USA, but lots of UK companies will ship abroad.

It looks great Bluehorse, I'm not a fan of the EDP either and would consider removing it.

As for the Gliptone, big fan of it Smile MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
