I'm unable to adjust the rear of my sunroof level with the roof line.
I have removed the glass and filed the adjusting slot as much as I dare which has helped a little.
The guide and main housing is secure and has not worked loose.
I guess the next option is to cut the bracket right through unless anyone can advise a more sensible solution.

I thought the glass was adjustable? two or for allen screws in the track or some such .

Yep, done all that, filed out the rear slot which has given me a bit more adjustment but still not enough. I'll take another photo of that and post, last one was too fuzzy

Have you tried cycling the motor fully ?
All the way open and continue to hold button for 30 seconds and all the closed and hold the button for 30 again ?
Long shot but it might just be the motor position memory . 2008 MY Supercharged

Thanks Axle, your long shot worked, all is now well. Glad I didn't proceed with further bracket cutting.

Axle you are a saviour.......Numpty here (Me) has been putting up with having to manually position sunroof closed - with short press of button - cursing SWMBO every time she flipped open the sunroof when she thought she was putting on interior light to find something at the bottom of handbag!!

Now with a simple reset - Wow what a clunk and movement after approx 30 secs in tilt position!- our lives have beem changed.

^^Also move the switch to the drivers side of the overhead console. Makes it more wife proof and more convenient from the drivers seat

I have just tried the reset myself after noticing the same dip in my roof and lo and behold it fixed it

One more job off the list - now if only my steering wheel controls could be fixed as easily as that

I was going to get someone to look at the same issue for me - a simple search on the forum and my sunroof is now flush again - thanks!

I'm going to give this a go tomorrow, in the hope that I'll gain at least 2 extra MPG from having a smooth roofline

Amazing! I tried this yesterday and my sunroof now sits completely flush (it was 5mm lower than the roofline before!). Whilst it didn't improve the MPG it does now mean that there's at least 70% wind noise in the cabin and I can drive with the sunroof blind open

I did mine today and noticed the rear now sits flush with roof line, so hopefully this will stop the recent highway wind noise that developed that wasn't there before .
