After I fitted the front camera with great success ( http://www.fullfatrr.com/forum/topic23389.html )and inspired by cliffy's post (http://www.fullfatrr.com/forum/topic24647.html?highlight=rear+camera) I wanted to fit a rear back up camera but didn't want it just working when in reverse but when moving forward and wanted a camera that recorded, I found this little camera with the AV cable built in to the wiring loom, its the same size as the front 0801 model but with no screen on the camera and cheaper.

Not wanting to start a new thread on cameras, today I have fitted a rear view camera to the horsebox trailer. So far it looks good on the screen in the RR.

If you want to put an ignition live in the boot there should be one in the trailer connector.

Hello, thanks for the good write-up, I have done the same and it works well. Here is a question, can you get the radio to work while the screen is showing the idiot behind? The co-pilot wants music while she reports on what is going on behind. |

Well I thought all was working well but that was parked in the garage When I went to reverse out this morning the rear view disappeared and the message " for your own safety the driver can,t watch TV whilst driving" or words to that effect. The screen only shows the rear view when I am in Park, in reverse or drive nothing just the nanny message, What have I done wrong? Please advise |
