Faultmate lists a CCF option to not have interior lights active with ignition at accessories or off but then they wouldn't work when a door is opened unless the ignition was on. |

Thanks for replies guys. I just don't like the lights coming on when I stop at night and it always feels like I have to hold the right paddle just too long to switch back.

I for one would love to be able to turn off the light feature for shooting at night. We quite often sit in the cars if a fox has been around the sheep. Ed |

On later vehicles at least, the interior lights can be disabled or enabled by pressing and holding the light switch for 3 seconds. |

Thanks. I don't want to disable lights coming on when you open doors, just when you switch off engine.

I seem to remember that there are settings that can be changed to do with interior lighting but not sure anymore, too long ago I played with it. There are also "police settings" I wonder if they would affect the interior lights although I don't see Range Rovers as good "stake out" cars

Sorry about that, correct the Black Box Solutions forum on their website OR you can of course ask the very nice people at GAP, the makers of the famous IID tool if the option is there OR if they would be so kind to program it in if that is in any way possible.

What confuses things even further, is that even if the option is there, it doesn't necessarily work. There is an option for "Interior Lights Not Active With Ign in Auxiliary or Off" in D3/RRS CCFs (but I don't know if it works) so I wouldn't think it unusual if a similar option is there for the L322 (can't check as I don't have a L322 license).

I intend trying the "interior lights not active" option in case its misdescribed and actually operates in the reverse. |
