may i ask why you need winter tyres as the normal ones work ok on the FF.. ... - .- -.

I have to agree with the comments about general performance in the winter months . . . Winter tyres just grip better, esp in the wet.

Having been persuaded a few years ago that it was better and as you are only scrubbing out summer or winter tyres at any time it is also cost neutral, 2 years ago I got a set of these and was blown away by the difference in grip when it is cold. Cold dry tarmac, cold wet tarmac and snow of any variety is just so much better.

Can`t find cheaper deals but if you want better deals then fit Michelin Alpin or Pirelli Winter or Good Year Ultragrip or Continental TS 850 .

Exactly my point Stan - I agree with your earlier post - a FFRR in most parts of the UK is fine on regular tyres.
