As Craig says - do your research and make sure you understand all the details of the conversion - if it's not fully documented and done to the highest standard, then it's a big gamble. |

I have an LPG Jaguar XJ8 - been driving it for 6 years with no issues at all (it's now for sale as I need the room) and I also wanted to get a LPG L322 but a friend has one (not SC) and his has spent the last 6 months in a garage while they try to "cure" a fault (and it spent a fair amount of time in and out of there before that) - he loves the car and is willing to wait for it but it put me right off, and after talking to a few others over here in Northern Ireland who also owned converted ones there seemed to be a general consensus to not buy one so I bought a TD6 - There may be some owners out there running converted models but as yet I have not found one. |

Not if the original owner didn't spec it. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

For what it's worth regarding LPG - I've had my 4.2S C Converted to LPG, no issues, had it for 6 years now no problems what so ever...

A good conversion costs since they take the time to remove the manifold for drilling. They should come with an oil mister system to to keep the valves happy as LPG is a dry gas. What doesn't kill you is just bidding it's time. |

Having had 322's on lpg including jaguar engined one, no problem at all, feeling no difference in power, just need a service every year and a valve lubing system, which BRC does standard on the 322. |
