Heated seat.

Hi Folks.
My heated seat on the drivers side has stopped working?
The lights on the dash come on and stop on but no heat
Comes from the seat.
Any ideas?
Gary

Maybe the fuse. I'm sure the switch and lights come on if the fuse is blown.

Unsure as to its location.

Had the same symptoms on my X-Type, it was the heater elements in the seat had packed up.

If they are heat/cool it will most likely be the ntp sensor in the peltier cooler heater unit.

Whole lot job i believe, very expensive for what it is and a Censored to change.

Sound like the temperature sensor is fubared , on cooling its a closed loop so the temperature sensor is missed out .
I have the same problem and would love to know a cheaper answer other than completely new Peltier cells . 2008 MY Supercharged

Had it to the local Indi today and it's
the seat heater motors that's the problem,
Hopefully get sorted next week.

Same motor runs the cooling and heating it's just the way the current flows across the cell affects the temperature so they must be saying it's easier to replace everything , I would have the plastic ducting changed as well if it doesn't come as part of the motor because it tends to split with time . 2008 MY Supercharged
